Bio-fuelled diesel train for Prince of Wales

You may have heard that HRH The Prince of Wales is touring the UK spreading the 'green message'.

He'll be visiting various green projects and community groups, as well as starting a 'green' cycle race in Scotland.

However, he's drawn some criticism for taking the royal train out for a spin instead of using a normal rail service.

As Clarence House have pointed out, it's simply not practical for the Prince to travel on scheduled rail services. That doesn't mean his highness can't continue to spread the green word though as his train runs on Bio-fuel diesel - a conversion carried out at the Prince's request.

I think that's Prince Charles 1 - Press 0 don't you?

HRH The Prince of Wales to install Solar Panels at Clarence House

HRH The Prince of Wales has never been one to shy away from environmental issues.

They are expected to generate 4000 kw hours of electricity per year.

The Prince hopes to illustrate the benefits of renewable energy to UK residents, by raising the profile of such devices. He already has wood chip burners and heat pumps fitted at his Gloucestershire residence.
