Recycled Housing - the weird and whacky...
We recycle our card and paper, our tins and plastic bottles, even our old clothes. So why not recycle old buildings and structures too?
Here's a couple of projects that we found on the Internet recently:
"A team of architects and builders have transformed an abandoned industrial silo in Løgten, Denmark into the core of a multi-story high-rise. Core services including stairs and elevators are located within the silo, and the individual dwelling units are attached to the sides of the original silo."

Meanwhile (see picture above), "container architecture is taking the world by storm. Recycled freight containers bring efficiency, flexibility and affordability to innovative green buildings, from small vacation cabins to movable cafes, schools and skyscrapers".
