Yorkshire solar company develops its own NVQ
The Yorkshire Post reports how a Brighouse company has developed its own vocational qualification in sola roofing.
Now Ploughcroft Building Services NVQ is used in 11 construction colleges in the UK and has been accredited by City & Guilds - the awarding body.
MD Chris Hopkins vows to continue expanding the training as solar roof installations become more and more popular, thanks largely to the feed-in tariffs introduced in April.

It's really encouraging when you see firms taking up the challenge of providing training for the new 'green jobs'. We wish 'Ploughcroft and the students every success.
