Remember the Snow and travel disruption before Christmas?

I'm actually writing this post amidst the icy grip in the last few days before Christmas as the UK struggles to cope with the cold and the travel disruption.

One 'tweet' on Twitter summed it up perfectly:

"Welcome to the Hotel Heathrow - You check out any time you like but you can never leave"

Hopefully we all made it to where we wanted to be (I had to cancel my own car journey to parents in Cambridgeshire because the tiny back roads to their village were blocked).

Anyway, I came across this interesting argument that the cold we were (hopefully not now) experiencing is down to global warming.

If you've a mince pie and a glass of something warming, then you might want to take 5 minutes to read it - click here (Monbiot.com).
