Radio presenters get too excited

Driving into work this morning, the radio was on and the sun was shining.

Then the radio DJ burst forth, very excited with the news that it promised to be 22 degrees for the Bank Holiday Friday.

Now I've know Easter's in the past where you got sunburnt on the friday and were wrapping up in winter coats by the sunday (Norfolk coast in case you're wondering), so warm Easter's are nothing new?

But it did strike me that as a potent of pending global warming with life-changing consequences, surely rather than getting excited, the temperature should have been reported in a more sombre mood?

Or is that just me?

When exactly are we going to really start worrying about global warming and ever increasing temperatures?

You tell me.
