Solar panels come as standard on new homes
Getsolar.com reported how an American home builder is going to make solar panels a standard feature on a new community it's building in southern california.
43 properties in total will feature a photovoltaic system designed to reduce homeowners energy costs as well as benefiting the environment.
Their announcement follows on the heels of another US developer planning ten 'all solar' communities across a similar location.
It's a great step in the right direction and it would be nice to see UK property developers start announcing similar plans to include solar or other renewable systems directly into new build properties.
I'm guessing they'd be pretty popular, even if you did have to pay a premium for the privilege.
Would you be interested in buying such a new-build with such features?
